Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of dokaly.fr, its apps and browser extension (the “Service”), published by Dokaly SAS, 6 rue d'Armaillé, 75017 Paris, France, RCS Paris 988 723 813.

Dokaly lets you build gift lists from any online shop, share them, manage them with others, and let your loved ones reserve gifts to avoid duplicates. Some lists may offer a group gift.

Dokaly is not a seller. Purchases happen on the shops’ websites, under their terms: Dokaly takes no part in the sale, the payment for the gift, delivery or after-sales service. Prices, images and availability come from the shops, are indicative, and are not updated automatically.

• You must be 15 or older, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
• The information you provide must be accurate, and you keep your password confidential.
• You are responsible for what is done from your account. If you think someone else used it, let us know.
• No account is needed to give a gift.

Reserving a gift tells others it is taken; it is not a purchase. Dokaly cannot guarantee that a reserved gift will actually be bought or given, nor the accuracy of the information given by the person reserving.

You keep ownership of the text, images and links you publish, and you are responsible for them. You guarantee you have the right to publish them. You allow Dokaly to host, display and technically adapt them (resizing images, for instance), only to run the Service and for as long as they are published.

You may not publish unlawful, hateful, violent, pornographic or misleading content, content infringing others’ rights, or malicious links, nor use the Service for spam or automated data collection.

To report content, write to contact@dokaly.fr. Dokaly may remove content that is clearly unlawful or breaches these terms.

Group gift payments are processed by Stripe. To receive the money, the recipient creates a Stripe account and has their identity verified; they then also accept Stripe’s terms.

Each contribution is at least €10. Dokaly charges a 4% service fee on each contribution, shown before payment.

A contribution is a gift to the recipient. In case of a payment error or fraud, contact us quickly: we will review the request with Stripe. The recipient is responsible for how they use the money received and, where applicable, for their tax obligations.

Creating and sharing lists is free. Some links to shops are affiliate links: if someone buys through them, the shop may pay Dokaly a commission, at no extra cost. As an Amazon Associate, Dokaly earns from qualifying purchases.

We do our best to keep the Service available at all times, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or outages. We may change, add or remove features.

For content published by users, Dokaly acts as a host and does not review it beforehand. Dokaly is not responsible for products, prices or transactions on shops’ websites.

Dokaly is liable for direct damage caused by a breach of its obligations. To the extent permitted by law, Dokaly is not liable for indirect damage. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

You can delete your account at any time from My account → Privacy. If these terms are breached, Dokaly may suspend or delete an account after notice, or immediately for serious breaches (unlawful content, fraud, security threats).

The Dokaly brand, website, design and code are protected. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission, beyond normal use of the Service.

How we process your data is described in our Privacy policy.

We may update these terms. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or on the site before they take effect; if you disagree, you can delete your account.

These terms are governed by French law. If there is a disagreement, write to us first: we will look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will go to the competent courts under ordinary rules.
